When Over exposure goes completely wrong!
According to Entertainmentwise, "
Beyonce and Kings of Leon have been announced as headliners for this year's V festival this week and as expected, the diverse line-up has outraged some and please others.
Fresh from her Super Bowl performance earlier this month, 'Single Ladies' singer Beyonce will be gracing the stage over the two-day weekend taking place on August 17 and 18 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire, while US rockers Kings of Leon will also be headlining.
However, the news that R&B diva Beyonce will be headlining has annoyed some who are fed up with the recent influx in exposure of the singer.
One Twitter user, @olihayden7 tweeted: “As it is every year, the V Festival line up is absolutely awful”.
@AlexandarJaxson was rather blunt in his analysis, writing: “V festival looks w**k, sorry”.
@EmperorSammyC said: “Please people, stop going on about V Festival. You can get better music in local pubs. Line ups s**t anyway, not one good act. #Rant”.
However, others couldn't be more pleased with the line-up and are actually looking forward to seeing different acts in one place.
@crimevvaves wrote: “Proper want to go to V Festival just to see Beyonce live”.
@Jshaww_ said: “V festival looks so good this year”.
@Ronnie_Bobba86 added: “Never thought I'd say this but V Festival looks good. Stereophonics,Travis, OCS,Jason Mraz, @Jessie_Ware ,of monster and men, labrinth #shock”.
